United Way Day of Caring & City Clean Up Friday

2016 day of caring logoThe United Way of Mason County’s Day of Caring is Friday. The Day of Caring is the day to give your time and energy to our area’s nonprofits and volunteers will be working at numerous locations including the McCreavy House, Community Lifeline and Hood Canal Food Bank.

Also this year, is a free city clean up sponsored by the City of Shelton and Mason County Garbage. City residents are being offered access to yard clean up dumpsters on Friday between 9:30 AM and 3 PM. This will be first come-first served until the dumpsters are full. The dumpsters will be in the vacant lot behind the United Way office, 724 W. Railroad Avenue in Shelton. City residents can bring their yard rubbish but some restrictions may apply. Call 360-426-4999 for details.
