The City of Shelton is now accepting letters of interest from individuals to serve on the Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisory Committee. The committee currently has one opening. The advisory committee is a permanent group that meets monthly to assist the city in delivering parks and recreation services to residents and visitors. Anyone interested in this position must live in Mason County.
Tasks assigned to the committee include recommendations on future park planning and improvements, recreation program services, regulations and rules of use for city park facilities, and serve as a liaison between citizens and the city commission on parks and recreation related matters.
Letters of interest may be submitted by mail or delivered to the Shelton Civic Center, Shelton Parks and Recreation, 525 West Cota, Shelton, WA 98584.
