Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics is again offering community First Aid/CPR/AED courses, and the first fall class will be on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Hospital’s Learning Center, located next to the Shelton McDonald’s on Olympic Highway North. The four-hour evening class is open to all members of the community, and combines First Aid, CPR and AED training, with a course completion eCard offered upon its successful completion.
First Aid/CPR/AED classes are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month from September to June, and class size is limited to 16 persons. A fee of $35 (exact cash or check) is required in advance to cover the cost of books and materials. A Spanish interpreter can be made available on request, and comfortable clothing is recommended. Thursday September 1 is the deadline to preregister by calling the Learning Center at (360) 427-3609.
