Shelton Chamber Holding Candidates’ Forum Tuesday

2016 primary election forum 2The Shelton Mason County Chamber of Commerce is holding a Primary Election candidates’ forum Tuesday (July 19th) at Olympic Middle School. The 6 PM forum will feature the candidates running for Mason County PUD No. 1, Mason County Commissioner Districts 1 & 2, and 35th District State Representative Positions 1 & 2. Everyone is welcome to attend and ask questions.

If you are unable to attend, Hood Canal Communications and MasonWebTV.com will be streaming the forum live online as well as broadcast it live on HCC’s Local Channel (46).

There are three candidates running for PUD 1 Commissioner Commissioner District 1:
Mike Sheetz
Karl Denison
J. Michael Read

There are two running for Mason County Commissioner District 1:
Kelley McIntosh (Prefers Independent Party)
Randy Neatherlin (Prefers None Party)

There are three running for Mason County Commissioner District 2:
Roslynne Reed (Prefers Democratic Party)
Kevin Shutty (Prefers Republican Party)
Steve Bloomfield (Prefers Independent Party)

There are two running for 35th District State Representative Position 1:
Dan Griffey (Prefers Republican Party)
Irene Bowling (Prefers Independent Dem. Party)

And there are two running for 35th District State Representative Position 2:
Drew C. MacEwen (Prefers Republican Party)
Craig Patti (Prefers Independent Dem. Party)

Ballots were mailed to registered voters Tuesday, so bring you ballot to the forum and fill out your ballot after hearing from the candidates.
