Two Fundraisers Help Local Dog Shelter

Adopt a petThe Adopt-A-Pet dog shelter invites the community to enjoy a bit of summer fun for a good cause.

What could be better than helping shelter dogs by enjoying tasty frozen yogurt on a summer evening? Join them June 30th from 5-9 PM at Limeberry Frozen Yogurt at 1110 College Street in Lacey.  Grab a cup, choose your favorite flavors and pile on the toppings.  Twenty percent of the proceeds go to Adopt-A-Pet.  Shelter volunteers will be on hand to provide information on their operations and to share in the fun.

On July 23, 2016, the 8th annual “Tee it up for Dogs” golf tournament takes place at the Lake Limerick Golf Course in Shelton.  Come support the Adopt-a-Pet dog shelter and put your handicap to good use.  The entry of $85.00 per person includes golf cart, 18 holes of golf, lunch, and awards.  Maybe you will even win the prize for craziest golf pants!   Sponsorship opportunities are also available.  For tournament details contact Mac at (360) 490-9365 or John at (360) 791-2111.  The registration deadline is July 5 and the sign up form is on both their website and “Adopt-A-Pet of Shelton WA” Facebook events page.
