Results from Narrows League Track Championships

Shelton trackAfter the first day of competition in the Narrows League Track and Field Championships, the Shelton boys are in 4th place while the Lady Highclimbers are in 7th. Leading the 3A boys is Lincoln and on top of the 4A boys is Gig Harbor. Capital is at the top of the 3A girls and Bellarmine Prep leads the 4A girls.

Top Shelton performers so far in the meet:
Alan Konnah won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.58.
Mike Husky took the shot put with a throw of 51–1.50.
Cody Hall topped the javelin with a throw of 158-02
Colton Paller was 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 48-10.50.
The Highclimber relay team of Troy Krumpols, Alan Konneh, Alex Brown-Garcia and Maricus Bryant placed 4th in the 4 x 100 with a time of 44.59.
Anika Parker finished 5th in the 1600 meters.
Anika Davison was 6th in the pole vault with a height of 7-06.00.
William Johnson took 6th in the 1600 meters.

The Championships continue Saturday at Highclimber Stadium.
