As the warm weather brings more outdoor activity, the potential for a medical emergency also increases. By learning basic lifesaving skills, you can help save a life and be of great value to the community! Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics is offering another First Aid/CPR/AED course on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Hospital’s Learning Center, located next to the Shelton McDonald’s on Olympic Highway North.
The four-hour evening class is open to all members of the community, and combines First Aid, CPR and AED training, with a course completion eCard offered after successful completion of the course.
A fee of $35 (exact cash or check) is required in advance to cover the cost of books and materials. The class size is limited to 16 persons, and a Spanish interpreter can be made available on request. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Early registration must be made by May 5 by calling the Learning Center at (360) 427-3609.
