MMK Girls Face Tulalip Heritage In Regionals

MMK logoThe Mary M. Kngiht girls’ basketball team travels to Everett Community College to face Tulalip Heritage in the regional round of the Class 1B State Tournament on Saturday. The Owls are the number two seed from the Southwest District 4 while the Hawks are the number two team from Districts 1, 2 & 3.

The two teams met in the 2014 regionals at Tumwater High School with Tulalip Heritage beating MMK 68 to 42.

Hertiage_logoThere are four current Hawk players who were on roster in that meeting including Adiya Jones who led Tulalip Heritage with 19 points and Aliya Jones who added 10 points.

The only current Owl play who played against the Hawks two years ago was Jaycee Valley.
