Here is the latest information on the landslide that is blocking Highway 106 west of Union near Webb Hill Road:
Slide has been cleared and highway reopened.
Trooper on scene says large trees and roots exposed at top of hillside.
State Patrol says a large “chunk” of the hillside came down and the DOT will be assessing the hillside’s stability.
Slide also caused a power outage. Mason County PUD 1 says most customers should be back on by 11:30 AM except for those from Webb Hill Road to Union.
