NMSB Approves Names for Facilities

video iconThe North Mason School Board has approved names for three facilities in the District: the auditorium at the new North Mason High School; the soon to be constructed parking plaza that will sit between the new high school, the new Hawkins Middle School (the old high school building) and the yet to be constructed stadium; and the new PACE building. Superintendent Dana Rosenbach has the names:

The District has a new process relating to naming facilities and buildings which includes public participation. A public meeting on naming these facilities was held in November.

Again the names approved Thursday night:

The new high school auditorium in now the “Toni M Smith Auditorium”

The new high school Entry Plaza will be named the “Alfred Snell Plaza”

And ¬†PACE Academy is now the “James A. Taylor High School”
