Shelton Bowler in Third Place

After the first day of the Girls’ Bowling State Championships, Shelton is in third place with 4,783 pins, 389 pins behind leader Battle Ground and 274 pin behind Emerald Ridge.

Among individual bowlers, the Highclimbers’ Danielle Ewart placed seventh in the state among Class 4A teams with a six-game total of 1,098, average of 183 and a high game of 237.

Competition wraps up Saturday morning with 14 Baker Games. Bowling starts at 8 AM.
