FANTASY FOREST 2015 TICKETS ON SALE AND VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE

2015 fantasy forest logoTickets are now on sale – until November 9, 2015, to the Annual  “Fantasy Forest 2015” – Mason General Hospital Foundation’s (MGHF) largest fundraising event of the year, November 18 – 21, 2015 at the beautiful Alderbrook Resort & Spa in Union.

There’s something fun for everyone in a week of celebration, entertainment, festive libations, dining, and dancing that raises funds to benefit Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics.  Volunteers are also needed in a variety of areas, from event setup and coat check, to table and tree hosting, staffing gift shop, raffle or Live or Silent Auction support.  Volunteers can now be among the first to come and enjoy the holiday events and support an important local charity supporting the health of our community.  New this year is a special prize drawing for those who bring their Fantasy Forest “Save the date” card or Gala invitation to the MGHF Specialty Gift Shop to enter!

Fantasy Forest 2015 begins Wednesday, November 18 with the Sneak Peek & Holiday Shopping Experience from 4 to 8 p.m.  Be the first to see this year’s forest of fantasy trees, shop at the MGHF Boutique & Gift Shop, and enjoy an intimate shopping experience featuring the latest in fashion, food, and holiday accessories from local and regional vendors. Admission is by donation at the door, suggested at $5 per person.

Thursday, November 19 features a Fashion Show & Luncheon with a unique and incredible selection of fashions presented by Pam Hanson of Cameo Boutique. The event also includes a Tree Auction, Silent Auction, and Fund-an-Item, emceed by MGHF Board Member, Jeff McHargue. Ticket price includes a gourmet lunch and you will also be able to view the beautifully decorated trees and visit the Holiday Gift Shop. Doors open at 10 a.m. with Silent Auction from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Seating is at 11:30 and lunch is served at 12 noon. The Fashion Show to follow concludes at 2:30 p.m. Reservations are required, and tickets are $55 per person, or $550 for a table of 10.

Thursday evening is the Father-Daughter Dance, where a little princess can accompany her father on a magical evening of dancing the night away among the shimmering lights of Fantasy Forest at the Alderbrook Resort & Spa. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30, and the event ends at 10 p.m. The evening includes a Silent Auction, Fund-an-item, Special Raffle, and guest speaker, Eric Moll, MGH&FC CEO. Reservations are required, and tickets are $50 per person. Alderbrook Resort & Spa is also offering special resort overnight stay rates. Portrait packages offered by Cooper Studios.

On Friday, November 20 enjoy an afternoon escape at the Business Lunch & Confections Auction on the beautiful Hood Canal. Come with a friend or bring the whole office and get in the holiday spirit, dining in an atmosphere of beautifully decorated trees and bidding on over-the-top sweets! Doors open at 11 a.m. with lunch served at 11:30, followed by the Dessert Auction, Tree Auction, and Fund-an-Item from 12 to 1 p.m.  Reservations are required and tickets are $50 per person, or $500 for a table of 10.

Friday evening hosts the Wine Tasting – A Toast to All of Our Community Supporters, in Alderbrook’s enchanting holiday atmosphere. MGH Foundation celebrates and recognizes all of our community supporters for their involvement and support of our mission with a selection of wines, and an offer for special overnight stay rates at the Alderbrook Resort. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the event running from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and including a Tree Auction, Fund-an-Item, and more. Auction to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person, and guests must be 21 or older to attend (with photo ID on request). Soft seating only, reservations are required and tickets purchased at the door are subject to a $15 surcharge.

Saturday, November 21 starts early with the Candy Cane Carnival children’s event at 9 a.m.  Santa Claus will be stopping by to get a head start on his Christmas list, so don’t forget to get an early ticket, as space is limited. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the event runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and includes a Special Envelope Appeal for Fund-an-Item. Soft seating only, and reservations are required with tickets at $10 per person. Age 3 and under FREE. Portrait packages offered by Cooper Studios.

Saturday evening the Alderbrook Resort & Spa hosts Fantasy Forest’s final event – Mason General Hospital Foundation’s 19th annual Grand Gala & Live Auction. Kick off the holiday season of giving by attending an enchanting evening at the Alderbrook Resort & Spa on Hood Canal with friends, show your support for MGH&FC, and make a difference that touches the entire community!  The Gala event includes a no-host bar (black tie is optional) and Alderbrook Resort & Spa is offering special overnight stay rates. Doors open at 5 p.m., cocktail hour and Silent Auction are 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and the Gala Auction Program starts at 6:30. Tickets are $175 per person and $1,750 for a table of 10.  Premiere tickets are $200 per person, and $2,000 for a Premiere table for 10 with guaranteed front row placement (premiere seating is limited).  After November 2, single tickets for the Gala & Live Auction must be purchased by calling the Foundation office at (360) 427-3623.
