The City of Shelton’s Human Services Committee is proposing to install temporary restrooms in the downtown area of the City. These port-a-potties would be a pilot project that could lead to the City building permanent facilities. Steve Goins, Director of the City’s Department of Community and Economic Development explained the proposed locations for these temporary restrooms to the Shelton City Commission Monday:
The Human Services Committee will raise the necessary funds for the restrooms. The pilot project will help determine if the locations are proper and whether they are needed at all.
