Pool Capital Repairs Funding Update

Pool Capital Repairs funding update from SPLASH (Support & Preserve Lifelong Aquatic Safety & Health):
With continued strong community support and a grant awarded to the hospital, money raised for the pool capital repairs now tops $81,000.

“We are grateful to the community for their resounding generosity and commitment to this project.  Our purpose is not just to Save the Pool but to also build a better community for us all, “ said Jim Smith, SPLASH board member.

Currently pool repairs are schedule to go to bid at the beginning of August, giving SPLASH about two more weeks to reach its fundraising goal of $100,000.  “We feel with continued local support we’ll reach our goal,” SPLASH president, Jacquie MacAlevy said.  “If you haven’t sent your donation in yet, now is the time to do so.  Time is growing short, and we need to have the funds collected prior to repairs starting in August.”

To participate in the continued donation drive, pool repair donations of any amount can be sent to SPLASH, PO Box 1982, Shelton WA 98584.  Pool donations can also be made to the Mason General Hospital Foundation by either sending a check marked for pool repairs to MGHF, PO Box 1668, Shelton, WA 98584 or online at masongeneral.com.
