Suspect Sought in Shelton Burglaries

shelton_patch2The Shelton Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for rash of burglaries in the City’s Mt. View area in the past week.  The following is a news release from the Shelton Police Department:

Over the course of the past week we have experienced several commercial burglaries in the Mt. View area.  These burglaries to various businesses have taken place in the early morning hours.  In three instances the suspect entered using a key or similar mechanism to gain entry.  Forced entry via a broken window was the entry/exit point in one, other case.  Two of the burglaries occurred on Olympic Hwy N, one of which took place at about 11:30 PM on Wednesday night; the second break-in on Olympic Hwy North occurred in the 1500 block in the early morning hours of Friday, April 17th.  There were two separate incidents of burglary to one specific business on Professional Way.  These incidents occurred in the early morning of Tuesday, April 14th and Sunday, April 19th.

The suspect was captured on surveillance footage at one of the businesses.  He is described as a medium build, white male with a bandanna concealing his face wearing jeans with black and white shoes.
