The North Mason football team got back on the winning track Friday with a 21 to 14 win over Bremerton. The Bulldogs moved into third place in the Olympic League after both Sequim and Port Angeles lost. The boys from Belfair are now 3-and-3 in league play, 4-and-4 overall. North Mason travels to Silverdale next Friday for a non-league game against Klahowya. The outcome of next week’s games for Sequim and Port Angeles will help determine post season play for Bulldogs, Wolves and Roughriders. Sequim hosts Bremerton. PA travels to Kingston.
The Shelton football team picked up its second win of the season, and first in the 3A Narrows League, with a 34 to 7 win over Mount Tahoma Friday. The Highclimbers are now 2-and-6 on the season, 1-and-5 in League play. They take on Capital next Friday at Ingersol Stadium in Olympia. The Cougars are 6-and-2 on the season, 5-and-1 in the Narrows League, currently in second place in the standings behind Lincoln.
Mary M. Knight football team lost to Twin Valley Saturday 50 to 6. The Owls now have a 3-and-5 record. The boys from Matlock host Lyle/Wishram at 2 PM next Saturday. The Cougars are 3-and-4 on the season.
