The North Mason fastpitch softball team clobbered Sumner in the first round of the Class 2A West Central District III Tournament Friday afternoon, 26 to 3 in five innings. The Bulldogs batted around in the first and second innings and never let up. The girls from Belfair pounded out 22 hits.
Tristan Stromberg went 4 for 5 at the plate with three RBI, three runs scored and three doubles.
Amanda Johnson was 0 for 5, walked twice and scored two runs.

Kori Frohlich was 1 for 5, walked twice and reached on an error, batting in a run and scoring three.
Emily Younkin went 3 for 5, walked twice, reached on an error, batted in four runs and scored five.

Marissa Brown was 5 for 5, with three RBI and three runs scored.
Jordan Stromberg was 1 for 3, batting in two runs, reaching on a passed ball and scoring three times.
Kimber Bolin went 3 or 5 with a triple, three RBI and three runs scored.
North Mason plays Franklin Pierce at 6 PM tonight in the second round of the Tournament at Sprinker Recreation Center inTacoma.
