Rain & Speed Cause 101 Crash

WSPlogo2The State Patrol says a car traveling too fast for weather conditions struck an embankment and rolled on U.S. Highway 101 near Skookum Creek (south of Little Creek Casino) Monday morning. According to a collision memo, the 1997 Honda Civic was southbound on 101 in the left lane about 10:45 AM. At milepost 354, the car hydroplaned, left the roadway to the right, struck the embankment and rolled. The driver, Erica L. Wilson, 18 of Shelton, was transported to Mason General Hospital. She was cited for Speed Too Fast for Conditions.
